Bay Path University offers a Master of Science in Applied Data Science degree that focuses on the tools and technologies used to analyze and interpret large and complex datasets in the business world. Discussion boards for each class, and group projects are also supported by the LMS. In addition, instructors are available for individual consultations during virtual office hours through the LMS.
The MS in Applied Data Science at Bay Path University requires students to complete 12 core courses. Each course counts toward three of the 36 credits required for graduation. These core courses include foundational work in Applied Linear Algebra and Applied Statistics, as well as in Data Mining, and Data Exploration and Visualization. The program includes additional coursework in the following subject areas: Applied Research Strategies; Decision Support Systems; Project Management; Organizational Knowledge Management; and Strategies of Information Management. Students must also complete an approved Case Analysis Capstone project.
